with the wind forcast to at a 4 mph it was a perfect chance to get out and have a fish so off to moelfre with birdj (john) and kitkat22(graham)we arrived about 11am with the tide nicely on the rise
the plan was to use a nomad mk1 the fatyak kaafu and the advanced elements sea angler inflatable we were going to swap and change the boats about between the three of us so we could get a better opinion on how each one preformed on the sea which we did .we fished till about 9pm then home,e we came arriving home at about midnight .
though in the pictures it looks like a flat sea it was far from it to start the day in fact it was quite choppy at times but that was made worst by the boat traffic and jet ski brigade
to start the day i think the wind was gusting to about 6 not the predicted 4
the fishing was slow with only dog fish coming in regularly and right at the end 2 mackerel to john
the guys on the rock caught nothing and it seamed very busy
we tried AL the kayaks and they all preformed really well
the advanced elements sea angler was the most comfortable of all the kayaks on the day and it preformed superbly in the swell from the boat traffic it was not effected at all by the windy gusts
a great day with great company it was fantastic how many of our members came up to us while we were on the beach to see the kayaks and in particular the inflatable it was great to meet you all in fact at one stage we had quite a gathering of members and public all examining the inflatable and the kaafu .
the only thing missing was the fish
ps graham had a chance to test his new shorty wet suit and hat with a couple of nice dunkings ;D ;D ;D
