Hi, I've also just joined, I'll be looking to start off by purchasing used equipment. I don't want to buy brand new only to find that I don't like it a few weeks down the road. I'll also be seeking loads of advice, and to meet up andhave a butcher's at some of your yak's and fishing gear. Thanx Dave

Hi Dave Welcome to the forum. Have a read through the section - Your kayak This will give you a good idea of the types of kayaks used and iff possible, try a few before you buy. We do have members around your area. Steve

Hi Kerny
Welcome to the site mate. There are quite a lot of paddlers around the north Wales area that go out around the ormes. keep watching the site for announcements.

Hello, I fish around N Wales in my Big Game Angler Edition but I am finding it a bit hard to find anyone to fish with after my original 'yak buddy had his 1st kid...
I've had 4 solo launches since Easter (2x Cable Bay, 1x Church Bay, 1x Pwllheli) and have had good fun catching Rays, Strap Eel and a multitude of dogfish... However, after having to paddle hard into a headwind to get back ashore the last time I launched from Cable Bay I thought it best to try and find other like minded people to launch with.
I know you used to do monthly meets? Is this still ongoing?
Unfortunately I won't be able to make the NW Kayak Meet in Tywyn in Sep...
Cheers

Hello all, a newbie to this forum, also to kayaking (got a sit on top), last week after a short course with Surf Lines. Briefly met a gent picking up a boat. His name was mark, and he mentioned this organisation. If he reads this he may remember me, from my user name. I have had to compromise on the boat as I will be paddling with my lady and grandaughter sometimes, but I do want a stab at fishing from it as well. I would like to come to a meet soon.
