Thanks for that John! On my birthday I paddled in 2 new places (for me) Inland Sea and Lake Geirionydd. Inland Sea is vast and shallow. I'm still reading camera reviews, shockproof sounds ideal for my clumsiness!

Grrr I had to work on my birthday how do you manage a Tuesday off lol. Inland see made me laugh when I first went on it. Me and rink123 set off from the bridge paddled right out into the middle, dropped our rigs over the side and the top hook was sticking out the water bloody place hehehe.

lol I ran aground twice and it was high tide! Couldn't paddle properly, thought fish were splooshing by me but it was mainly mud and sand falling off my paddle blades. Was good for bird spotting though, saw herons, cormorants, redshanks and about 10 little egrets. I also saw 2 guys with nets by the cob, is that legal?

Got a W30, but haven't had a chance to get it wet yet. First few pics are alright, but the instructions are daunting (208 pages)

Launched from Felinheli tonight on an very calm high tide...with a visible sunset, this camera is AMAZING. Seriously. I read mixed reviews online. Blows my wife's Sony Cybershot to bits, and that cost £350. Sorry folks but I'm not photobucketed! I haven't got it wet yet!

Wow Boomphat, that is an award winning photo.
You might want to enter that in a competition - it really is that good.
Cheers
Tim

Thanks Tim! I'll look for a competition to enter. I'm just glad I didn't get the nose of the yak in it!
