Tell you what Paul, I love modding the kayak, the more the better, it makes it personal. One point, your anchor rope is far too thick and you need to get it on a reel or something to keep the rope neat and easy to use. Most of us use 2 or 3mm dia braided rope / warp. A thick rope will drag like mad in the water. The other thing is to use about a metre of galzanised chain to connect the warp to the anchor which will drastically increase the effect of the anchor keeping the anchor firmly down on the sea bed working properly. With thick warp and no chain, I don't think you will keep in one place resulting in you moving away from a possible hot spot and possibly into a snag. When you have sorted the anchor/chain/warp a rough guide for the amount of warp to let out is 3-4 times the depth you are fishing in. This is the sort of set up most of us use and comes complete with line ready to use. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SMB-Reel-Dive-Wreck-for-Scuba-Diving-Divers-approx-46m-2436-/150802866638?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Scuba_SnorkellingEquipment_SM&hash=item231c8d21cePhil
