The Cuda 12 is a brilliant kayak and im very happy with it. Its very stable but not as fast as my previous kayaks The elite 4.5 and Trident 15. On more of a par to a Big Game maybe depending on your stature... I do find it heavy to manhandle more so having had a prolapsed disc op'.... But for angling its fantastic, its got all the bits on it you need. The only negative thing but doesn't worry me is that a small amount of water sits in the rear seat wells.(and sand too if your on a beach) This causes the submerging of the rear seat legs throughout the fishing session, will have to keep an eye on the seat for rust maybe ? Or sponge it out at intervals... Other than that i'll highly recommend,if its stability and a dry posterior your after then this is the kayak for you... A nice steady paddle required......

The seat is aluminium Alan so you should not have a problem. I have been using a 12 for a few weeks whilst awaiting my Big Tuna to arrive and it is to my mind a nice 12 footer although I preferred my Cuda 14 but it is all go on the BT to get it sorted for fishing.
