My review of jazz Stainless Steel Fish Pliers The first thing you notice is the quality these pliers are top notch only the best quality materials have been used in making them the metal parts are all stainless steel The pliers are 5 inches long making them an ideal size to fit both the hand and the pocket of your pfd without being heavy or clumsy The pliers come in a sturdy canvas case which has a Velcro fastener and a belt loop on the back The pliers have a stainless steel locking catch and stainless steel spring The handle is moulded with efe plastic making the whole tool very robust And easy to grip The blade is shaped and contoured this is to make griping the hook easy and solid there is also a line cutter on the front jaws of the tool this is just in case you have to cut off the line The tips of the pliers are angles making it easy to see the hook when griped with the pliers. These are without doubt the best fishing pliers on the market the materials are superb and the construction is solid I really like the lightness of these pliers and the size they have a superb feel to them the retail of the jazz pliers is £19.99 but they are worth every penny

Mine arrived today, Thanks Terry. They are nice and light yet strong and robust, looking at the pictures I thought the spring may fall out with a little pulling as they do on many others in the same price range but when I gave them a good tug they remained firm. The cutting blades are spot on and the serrated edge stops the line moving out of the blades before its cut. The pliers give a great hook hold and it's no doubt helped by the quality of the material eliminating flex in the jaws. There IMO a perfect size as well not too small so there fiddly and not so big that they are in the way and most importantly they look great A nice well though out design. I know its a small thing but the only point I could pick out at this time was I think there should be a small eyelet at the bottom of the pouch to allow water to drain out. Other than that, spot on
