Thanks ZEBRA. I will try that. I still have lots to learn with my paddling technique but it's slowly improving.

Thanks for the offer Zebra, but I'm miles and miles away in Devon.
Cheers Jools

I wouldn't worry too much about what is said on that other forum. Some of them are remarkably elitist, very much up their own arses if I can say that...... I have an Ocean Kayak Big Game, I guess they'd call that outdated..... You folks with Galaxy's just need to get a few pics posted of your catches, that should shut them up :-) Now, if that wind would just drop.... :-)

Snaps you will not have seen reviews on AA but you may have seen 'comments' from people who I never even seen the Sturgeon let alone paddled it.
Many of these people are currently paddling setups that cost well over a thousand pounds the Sturgeon is just over £500. They are aimed at different markets.
I HAVE seen a Sturgeon and I have paddled one. I and people that were with me think it is exceptional value for money, the level of rigging would cost the owner of any other kayak over £200.
Please be careful that any comments you pass on are from people who are in a position of knowledge.
