If you fell out a Ultra twice I want to watch you launch the tempo for the first time, with a video camera of course haha
Fitting a decent sized hatch increases the fishability of them 10 fold IMO.

Problem is that I've learnt in the BG!! You really don't need any balance, in fact you'd have to try pretty hard to tip it..... The Sturgeon I paddled on Saturday is similar if a little smaller and easier to paddle I'm not intending to sell the BG, but run it alongside the Tempo as they are chalk and cheese. Initially the Tempo would be for playing and maybe some exploring. And eventually there will be a winner :-)
I think I've explained before that my shoulders aren't quite what they were thanks to breaking both humerous's in mx crashes, I only have one collar bone too....but the kayaking is definitely helping build strength. The Big Game is probably the toughest yak to make progress in
It's all a big don't know right now, but the Tempo looks really good and I couldn't resist it. I don't think I would lose much selling it, but I won't rush to modify it for fishing
Thanks for the feedback all, you're welcome to try both when I'm out with them

Take both yaks. Sit on the gunwhales and see which one goes over first. It wont be the tempo. The bg will capsize first.
The tempo has more stability than the bg.
Apart from that its fun.

We were blown off Anglesey on Sunday after great sport on the Saturday. So on Sunday afternoon I took the Tempo down my local river and had a couple of hours of great fun. That feeling of tippiness disappears after a while and then it feels fine. I messed around checking the depths of various chub swims using the paddle as a gauge, and decided that it'd be good to anchor up and fish for them soon. This kayak is about twice the speed of the BG, and glides really well, whereas the BG skids to a stop the moment you stop paddling. I'm quite impressed, but still a long way from thinking of selling the BG. Like I said, we had a great day on Saturday, we were out for hours and I was really comfortable, I took the kitchen sink out with me, three rods and loads of gear, food and drinks, but I must admit that the mile paddle back against the tide was "character building" :-) Almost ready to order all the kit to make the Tempo a fishing yak now. I'm going to keep the black theme with matching cords and fittings. Odd thing, when I jetwashed the Tempo after getting home, there were soap suds all over! I can only think it was some sort of coating, mould release?
