I hope this counts as a SIB, its brand new out and is going to save a load of paddling, and it will be handy to get out in a moderate breeze as well. It will be easy to fit a fish finder, rod rests ect

Have you got your hands on the Kayacat then and yes it certainly does qualify as a SIB

Hello Phil
I am taking del of the Cougar in October. When I get it I will put it on the site, and maybe do a small review.

I look forward to seeing your review.
Incidently, if you are still looking for a radio, a friend of mine on the 'coarse kayak fishing' forum has a Cobra for £80 and knowing Phil, it will be in good order.
I will be very interested to hear your views on the toughness of the fabric used on these hulls and confess they do look bloody nice.

Cheers Phil, but I have managed to get hold of a nice little radio at a good price. I will do that review, and durability will be looked at.

Well its here at last. I know it took a long time to arrive, but that's normal for some kick starter projects. First appearance is that its well made, I haven't been on the water yet so I will save a review for later.
