A rather bumpy ride with very poor turning at any speed. The inflatable keel (the tube that sits under the floor) is vital to produce lift, ride and turning ability. Can you explain David why you have changed the floor because it is not a good move.

inflatable keel/tube creating the v on its last legs as the sib is old! so I ve put in the 7psi flooring and actually made the v shape but using swimming noodles (polyethylene foam)so it should be like it was when the floors inflated - although needs testing Thanks for getting back Phil

David you could buy an inflatable keel and just glue it in place, try Polymarine as they are brilliant with all things to do with SIB/RIB. There some available from some marine chandlers www.ronhalemarine.co.uk/superbasket/product/1725/Avon_R310_Inflatable_KeelYou could also try Excel boats and Pacer marine. However if the boat is not worth spending much money on due to age David, then okay why not use the pool noodle. It would be well worth your while to try to bond or hold it in position to prevent it from moving once under way because it will move. Good luck with it anyway. Phil
