All i can say is ........ the Menai is fishing well :)

Having fished the Menai recently for just a couple of hours....
To my surprise i landed 2 octopus, 7 dragnets and 1 ballan wrasse.
Oh! and a bucket load of velvet swimmers
!
I was only used to catching octopus out on charter boats !
Very rare to catch them in the Menai.
Having missed some good takes I felt id regained my luck !
Also have noticed some really big bullhuss and smooth hound too, are being landed.
I goes to show that the waters have cleaned up a lot to what they've had been
