This is a big kayak that is very stable. It can handle 2 adults or one large one, with loads of carrying capacity. It is quite a heavy yak, but I can lift it by myself on to a 4x4. The plain design gives you ample opportunity to modify the yak to your own specification. I have set mine up for single person fishing, which will easily convert back to two person (as the kids use it too.) As you can see, this is a big boat that is very stable.... There is ample room behind an Apex 1 seat for a Homemade crate that can hold tackle, bait, anchor, and other bits an bobs... All purpose Knife in sheath and Maglite Torch inside crate. Waterproof safety sack secured behind seat Contents include..Flares, VHF Radio, First aid kit, compass, mobile phone and car keys. I have fitted my Malibu with 2 R.A.M. rod holders that can accommodate fixed spool reels or multiplier reels. Available here.. www.gpsw.co.uk/details/prod2090.htmlAs you can see, loads of room, and easy to sit side on whilst fishing. All in all a multi purpose kayak that can handle a stiff breeze, although a wet ride, especially when in 2 person mode. Slow progress in to a headwind as the yak is heavy! And not that fast with a tail wind!!! Good carrying capacity, but needs DIY modifications to become an angling yak. All I need now is an anchor trolley kit. Some more photos of the Malibu 2

Well according to me the Hard Sided Ones might be the best ones that are able to provide the best in terms of stability.
