Hi folks, Just bought a Tarpon 100.Took E.A. advice and joined BCU and obtained 3rd party insurance as part of their package. Looking forwards to getting afloat for the first time.Ill be after inshore schoolies for sport and the odd dinner.Im in the Midlands and travel to Barmouth once a month to fish lures in the surf. Its a great change from pike fishing the Trent ! Bala and Llangorse lakes appeal to me, both noted pike waters. My first paddle tommorrow.I cant wait.

Hi All, Just like to introduce myself, Ive been browsing this site for a few weeks now and I,m certainly impressed, an excellent site, well done to all. My name is Kev and i'm the chap that buddies with Philpot whenever we are out on the Kayaks, having said that on Sunday we aired on the side of caution and went fishing of the wall near to our location, I think we are gonna have to go out and get them cod cause they are'nt coming inshore yet. Anyway I paddle a Big Game which I purchased from Morton Boats of Lincoln in May 2010 and have fished with it up and around Filey, Bridlington, Huttoft and the Humber usually on my own but since Philpot and I bumped into each other by chance its more reassuring when someone is with you. I look forward to meeting some of you guys possibly next year maybe try out some different locations or even over here. Thanks Again. Cheers. Kev

Hi Kev, Like you I am a foreigner, Leicestershire.
I have had a couple of trips to Huttoft both Summer time for the smoothies. Great launch site.
They are a great bunch here very welcoming and more sympathetic when you ask a silly question...some sites might ridicule you for that or just say' USE SEARCH' . These guys are sincere and have your interests and safety at heart.
Hopefully meet up sometime.
Terry
