A question to all you seasond kayakers .Is it more stable than the caper ?. Iam still looking for one I wont fall out of, one with a seat belt would be ideal. I must give it a try at the next meet.
cheers tony.

Had my eye on one of these for a while, looks ideal for a lure or flyfishing trip around the rocks during the summer evenings. When is it available for a test drive Zebra?
Cheers

I like the hatch design with the lift and twist handles ... i think all kayak makers should use these type hatches.

Hi, I love the ideal of a light tough yak for inshore fly/lure fishing.... BUT...given the size/length does the kayak tend to swing into the wind or wave? Also does the front yaw with each paddle stroke?
I have a Tarpon120 now which I like but its bloody heavy.

Flyguy I have paddled the mini x factor on two meets (in wind and on flat calm but in swell/current) - I found it very stable, very easy to paddle, and less tendency to move about in the wind compared to a prowler 15 I tried on the same day. I think its good for very close inshore work, but in the end I opted for a prowler 13 as I wanted something a bit faster on flat seas and capable of going out a bit further.
