I would try hot melt glue or an epoxy resin. Failing that try a plastic weld, but don't ask me how it's done. Not much help am I

what i am trying to find out is the best glues/sealents for things like transducers and hatches . and the types used that did not work to well hot melt glue can distort the hull so you have to be really carefull with it .
but i hope to compile a list of glues that work and that dont so we can put it up and hopefully save people time trying glues that dont stick to well .

thank goodness you haven't got any photos to prove that Mike ( I hope ;D ;D ;D) I could scrape out the contents of the boat (or the van come to think of it ) but try this instead - get it from any good aquatics shop ( you know the ones mate It sticks like the preverbial even under water( a bit pricy) but it works. Hutton Suppplies Unit 5 Hughes Business Park. Wilverly Rd. Christchurn. Dorset. 01202 481706. Might be worth a product review if you use it.
