Is there no where we could go that would be sheltered from a South Westerly and be able still fish?
I'm sure it's fun playing in the surf, but I don't have a dry suit (or a wet suit come to that). If the breeze is too strong for plan A, I might see of I can find a sheltered spot. Maybe the Penrhyn Bay side of the little Orme or perhaps Cemaes, Bull or Cemlyn bay. Just a thought. John

at cable bay myself sat am bodyboarding and yak surfin with kids. forcast 6.5ft swell not too good a surf though maybe a bit mushy,only a 7 mph wind forecast though.might see you there.are you talkin porth trecastle or cable bay,big car park in the dunes or car park on the side of road?

Big car park with the dunes is Traeth Llydan - Broad beach in English
Car park next to the road = Porth Trecastell - or Cable Bay in English
Bull bay is usually fine to fish with a SW as you are in lee of the cliffs.
I was planning on trying to make the Llandulas meet - provided I can find some crab over low water tomorrow night.

Im happy to fish anywhere I would like to fish canle though I like rock dwelling stuff rather than them spiny things ;D ;D
