No problem Rich, We've got some spare waterproofs and PFD's so come along and have a try. It's the best way to decide which yak you prefer.
Cheers

thanks, very clear directions.
Is there a shop near there to buy bait? I know there is one at the pier but I recall there is one nearer the end where we are meeting. Llandudno tackle? but I can't get them on the phone at present. 01492 871550 is their listing but its unobtainable. Are they still in business?

Llandudno Tackle, who were located in Craig-y-Don have closed down; well that shop has. I'm not sure if they have simply moved premises, but I don't think so. I think they have closed down. John

Unfortunately I won't be able to make the meet. I got my dates all mixed up. I thought the meet was last Saturday (9th).
I've arranged to go to Bala with my son and next door neighbour (who is going mountain biking; the real hardcore stuff).
We are going for Pike on Saturday. We're camping over Saturday evening and may have another go for Pike on Sunday morning. I can't let my neighbour down as he's been looking forward to it. John

Is there another shop in Llandudno for bait or will I have to go to the pier? I've nothing against that shop, in fact I was there recently and its fine, its the Llandudno traffic system that puts me off

Hi I aim to be there too as missed last one. Getting there at 9am with HT at 1pm - what's a typical day consist of - need to let others know when I will return etc. I've fed the fishes and crabs at that point lots of times. Where do you expect to head out to from there? Oh, and fist time fishing from a yak (not first time on yak though) so should be a challenge! Gerry

Fishing WX give a nice forecast at llandudno for Saturday with a smooth sea state. Cant come quick enough tbh once a month on the yak isnt enough I need to keep praying for global warming to make the water levels rise bring the sea closer to Shrewsbury ;D ;D ;D
