Well I bought one of these recently to go on holiday with as I had pulled and ripped a load of muscles in my side and simply could not lift my larger Yak. I have to say that although this was a bit of an impulse buy this is has turned out to be one of the best kayaks I have been in and the cheapest too! The handling is great, stability and straight line tracking really good, its a pretty dry ride and its light weight at only 20kg. The internal storage is well thought out and stays dry! Speed seems pretty good for a small yak and handles the surf and swell as good as anything else I've tried. The 'wheel in the keel' is a great idea and helps enormously dragging the kayak up and down the beach and even manourvering around the garden. I have kitted mine with a Scotty triple holder system, which is used on my other kayak, and this also allows me to strap on my video camera and bits. The other extra was the seat pad and the whole kit cost me about £350. Brilliant! check out the video link in the Isle of Man post.

I totally agree on your thoughts on this kayak. My wife has the same yak but in different colors and she wouldn't change it for the world. The only addition to her yak was a removable skeg to assist the back of the kayak swinging from side to side when paddling. This is most probably due to her paddling style. For its size it keeps up with longer kayaks and is great for exploring tight "nooks and crannies"
A very worth while purchase in my book.
