@ Beeman. I have a Triumph 13, I bought the standard version about 2 - 3 years ago and customised it myself, much cheaper than buying the angler version. I found it to be a good sea boat, it's taken everything I've put it through BUT I don't go out in bad weather,( no more than 12mph of wind) I know my limitations and kayak for fun, not for a living. It needs a rudder as it weather cocks quite noticably, but this may be possibly be due in part to poor paddling technique on my part. It's a comfortable ride, quite quick and pretty forgiving where stability is concerned. As everyone has said, try before you buy and attempt to play for a couple of hours in each yak before you make your mind up. Best of luck. Guern
