Just back from my first paddle in my flex 11 and i must say i'm delighted. this yak is very stable,im 6'2 16 stone and its so stable and comfortable, the tracking is great but with the skeg down its as straight as an arrow and paddling is so much effortless.i was given a paddle with this package but have bought a carlisle day tripper which as proved a good investment.anyone looking for a great yak which can do a bit of everything take a look at the flex 11,its a great all rounder and very easy to manage on your own topping it on the car and getting it off.it marks a big ten off me and im so pleased ive finaly found a yak that works for me.btw this is so stable im going to fit two rod holders to it as it will make great fishing yak too.my previous yaks were the osprey osx[fingers down the throat after just one paddle] and the mini x which i loved but so hard to paddle.this flex 11 is so dam good i cannot praise it enough.ive had a test paddle in the easky 15 but im very pleased with with this flex 11 and its seating is also very good.

Great stuff! Now all you have to do is try to avoid buying more kayaks! This will be difficult.....Cheers, Simon Oh yes, I would try to use the skeg as little as possible- when you are in a cross wind it helps to put it down, to minimise the rear end swinging round (weathercocking). Otherwise, I would leave it retracted.
