OK I'll start with a very obvious choice for me The good old BIG twintailTrolled, cast, jigged these always seem to do the business for me. Those spinning tails seem to drive them pollack, cod and bass mad. Reckon my homemade ones are the best of course. LOL ;D Will share a few more if you do the same. Come on guys spill the beans.

J13 silver blue (trolling / not casting as too light to get distance I want). Its been my trusted choice since I can remember. I'd like to try a X Rap. I've got a sidewinder blood shot eel that I must try.

Ive tried quite a few but nearly always have a chuck with the good old dexters wedge. Have tried a variety of rapalas but i agree with pav that they dont cast far giving a short retrieve. I also had a bit of sucess last summer trolling a small jelly mackeral but no matter how many varieties i try there is always a wedge in the box.

A model of spinner I have used for over 35 years and I still always pick up a couple of new and bright ones every time I see some........Ondex 3 , 4 and 5. I have had literally hundreds of pike and perch on theml Always a great stand by never big fish 13lbs is my best, mind you that was a perch..LOL.!!!

I take loads out but always carry some TOBY type for close range and some DEXTER wedges in various weights for distance or fishing into a wind. Seem to do well for me and wouldnt feel confident if i left them out of the box. Steve

As mentioned in the trolling thread, I have been lucky with the 4.5" sidewinder sand eels in pearl, blue or blood head.
You can cast them out quite a way if its not to windy from rock marks or troll them.
Like the bigger 7.5" slug-go with a clip on nose weight to get them down a bit.
The Maria SW / BW from Veals work well and can be used in shallower water.
All things considered, the Dexter wedge and Toby type lure cant be beat for casting distance and catching stuff.

I like using the Dexter wiggle stick the blue/silver one, i've had some cracking takes on these bass just can't resist them. Also the savage gear sandeel had some good size pollock with these. Maria chase as mentioned above take some beating. Great to hear some of the other guys views on what they use, over the next few months i'm sure we can build up our W.O.B.S. = WEAPONS OF BASS SEDUCTION!!! Keep em coming guys, great thread.

Link swivel to the eye at the loop at the middle pointy bit ( that's the technical name for it).
