we must think along the same lines i have dug some old nav lights out of the shed and replaced the bulbs with led strips just got to solder them up . i was thinking of mounting them on a pole .. make it a tri color light with my alround light at the top . got some stainless tube run the wires down the middle and a use a water tite deck pulg some where on the ???box

I have got a couple of mates down here in somerset who say thay want one each for there yaks so i might just make a production moulds for the box and lid so i can make more . will have to see making the mould is the costly bit . and if i have time but once i have the mould thay would be quick to make ;D

Might be worth having a word with Zebra, he will give you the name of the main man at Ocean Mouldings who make the Fatyak. There might be the chance of an 'official' box or even via Neil, I think it's Neil , at H2O kayaks, who seem to be the main distributor and might like to offer it as an accessory. If the numbers go up then your costs would go down I guess..
Just a thought.......
