I,ve used my trident enough now to give a fair view of it. Firstly the good points.she,s a long yak and storage is not a problem with plenty of room for all you need to carry and she carries it well. She is more than fast enough and once upto speed she goes very well. Some say these yaks are hard to turn but i find it turns easily enough and even in strong winds she runs straight and true with no issues i,ve noticed. As a fishing platform she is quite narrow and although i wouldnt say tippy you can feel her moving about which i dont find a worry. You can fish side saddle easy enough and reach around into rear well with no issues, but i,d say stability isn,t as good as my 330 but good enough. The only down side is the rod pod is to wide and to be honest is a pain, needs to be cpl or so inches narrower then it,d be great. Over all a very very good yak and i,d recomend to most, maybe not a beginner or some one with little paddling experiance as its a lot of yak to manouver but personally i love it .

"i was very suprised at how quick you were over the water."
I think Karls paddling pedigree helps there too. Once a good paddler always a good paddler.
