J13 silver blue. Despite swapping lures I always seems to come back to this lure. Sometimes I handline, although landing the bigger fish can be interesting!

I've landed a 5lb Bass on the handline. I have also lost fish close to the yak! I like the hassle free use of handlines, although I do use rods if I'm out on a mission! I'm thinking this next year building something similar to an umbrella rig with a Bass sized lure chasing some shrimp size baits or eels. The J13 wouldn't work as a chasing lure as it floats, so need a similar silver blue sinking lure. I'll let you know how I get on next summer!

Not for trolling but!!! Someone mentioned old faithful. If i could only take 2 lures out they would be a Toby for short range and a Dexter wedge for long range or windy conditions. I have loads of lures and plugs but always make sure i have these in the box. Steve
