I enjoyed reading this thread and seeing the pics. For those who jumped off the bridge and wore dry cag and trousers did the waist seal hold up ?

Ray - cheers for that mate tried to catch the spirit of the day- as for the upload time - dont ask- you can imagine- and then some of the links wouldn't work- i almost gave up at one point. Well worth it though as we are all still enjoying the day - one day later.
As for speciman - glad you had a good read and maybe a smile on your face- i know the answer to your question but i'm going to leave it to Martin and Stitch to answer you- all the best

SpecMan, The seals don,t work well when you jump from 15ft into water. Not really what their designed for, but hey we didn't care. But on a serious note will have to purchase a full dry suit for winter for normal yakking. Cheers Tim

Hi Speciman my cag has a hood so i couldn't fasten my collar up, every time i jumped from the bridge it would fill with water. Most of the water was kept from body due to the pfd,s tight fit but my arm filled up which wasn't to bad while i was in the water but when i got out they gained three stone each, the word BINGO springs to mind. The latex cuffs worked brilliantly, i couldn't empty them so i had to reach for the sky.
john ;D ;D ;D
Take a look at me on page one, i dont remember punching my arm in the air so i must have been emptying it.

Mr Hatter- what can anyone say- better late than never- you have just achieved a cosmic breach in forum posts - get yourself a drink mate. Ray talked today about maintaining standards- looks like posting standards just went skyward. it'll be a job to beat this. The humour as well- stunning stuff - the green bottles were all Kevs- the legs were all Martins- the money was all the bloke's in the go-cart. Stunning.

I just want to thank all the lads for one of the best days i,ve had for along time, it was my first meet. I think its going to be hard to top? but with this great bunch of lads i wouldn,t bet on it. Great action pic,s Kev . I cant leave without a mention to the head chef, george, who served up the meanist bacon and sausage baps in north wales ,served with hot tea or coffee.

glad to hear you had a great day topcat- hope to see you at the next one- thanks for the comments but i cant take all the credit (i did the afternoon shift) it was very much a joint effort with lots of helpers- chief cook in the morning (which is a surprise after all them green bottles) was the man himself: George W Hatter
