Finally had the time and felt well enough to do it.... The weather was nice but as the tide flooded there was a chilly easterly breeze, which continued and changed direction through the ebb..... Hydro Force 3.3 inflatable floor and keel ....powered by a tohatsu 9.8hp 2stroke It went very well and I'm pleased, to say the least. The only prob' which i'll have to deal with is the water splash at the stern. Not a big problem , may need to re adjust the angle and height of engine. The boat itself performed well, but the pressures in the inflatable keel and air floor are crucial. Not forgetting the sponsons (tubes)...too. I was having too much of a good time, didn't want to play around too much with the engine once it was on... Although I did move the engine tilt to the second hole.. No fishing just a trip through the swellies, in and around the Menai Straits, boat will have to be sorted properly before that Will put some of the vid's and photos up on youtube when I get the chance...

Once the engine position is sorted and the kit fitted ie fish finder etc.
Although I just use it for depth and seabed contour I can from experience have a good idea what fish could be there ...
I understand why zebra has his amazing tackle box in the centre of his boat.........
It keeps weight and pressure on the keel, which makes it more rigid 🙂
Makes you wonder why they say my sib can carry 4 adults and 1 child.
Very pleased with both engine ( really amazing on fuel !!! ) and the boat, just need these little tweaks to improve performance.
Only got a couple of sunny days this week as per the predicted advanced weather forecast so may put doing these on hold until the following week.
Fished off a friends boat yesterday, Friday 😁 Caernarfon Bay, doggies, whiting, bullhuss and a thorny ray !
This could easily be possible off a SIB !
