Well Im just 24hrs away from the start of my 2 week holiday in Anglesey where my Prowler BG is gonna get fished into the ground. Its gonna get so much use it will come back lookin like a Frenzy. Usually when I go away to Anglesey I fish alot of the rock marks from the shore and sit there looking at the coves and cliffs thinking what it would be like to fish that ;D ;D Not any more. Ill have no net connection while out in the wilds so silence from me for 2 weeks but I hope to be back with plenty of reports and pictures or a Prowler BG for sale depending on how it goes. I look forward to speaking to you all Sunday and gaining some of your experience. Laters John

Have a safe journey down John - and look forward to seeing you on Sunday - I'll be happy to give you some suggestions for trying places on the island here and I shoudl be available for a couple of evening sessions after work during your 2 week stay if you want someone to show you some of the more difficult to find marks or want company for some of the more remote ones.

That sounds a great offer mate. Im going with family and so rink123 will be with me and we both need advise on yak fishing ;D ;D. We looked at Wylfa power station outlet last year as a good shore mark but felt it was a bit risky to get to but we may try it off the yaks this year. I will speak to you sunday moniar and I will brin an OS map of Anglesey and a big marker pen ;D ;D.

Yep no problem mate - I'll give you some suggestions, and if you want me to pop over to wylfa one evening I'll show you how to get down (legally and safely) to one of the shore marks there which I sussed out last summer - didnt like the atmosphere of the place myself so havnt fished there and I dont fancy kayaking in the outfall either - but Hughesey and I launched from cemaes bay last Saturday morning and paddled around wylfa head and found some nice rock spots there. We found a good drift mark close in at Bull Bay the other month too which I can show you on the map.

No problem - I can put you onto some alternative bass marks on the island. By atmosphere at wylfa I meant the physical environment, not any problem with locals fishing there, who I found very obliging when I chatted with a couple of them last summer - but they dont like the people that sometimes turn up and hammer the small bass, taking sackloads of undersize fish away to sell - I dont like it due to the noise and industrial atmosphere as I prefer to fish in quieter more peaceful places usually, but am quite happy to try an evening session there on the plugs for a change if you want to meet up there in the next fortnight. The security people dont like anyone fishing down there - but they cannot stop people going the way I know to get down to the rocks on the opposite side, and it gets you away from any hassles like that. Plenty of nicer bass marks on the island available, especially in a kayak :-)
