Got this new kayak last week, have only managed to use it once so far at Conwy but it seems to be really good.If any member would like to try it out in this area get in touch, you would be very welcome.I'll write a review on it after I have been out in it a few times. Tom

Hi Dave, it seems to handle well but I haven't tried it in big waves yet,it's good in a straight line, very easy to keep a course and turns quite well for a big yak.I'd enjoy a day at Bala maybe catch a pike or two! Tom

Here are a few pics of my X Factor in the process of getting fitted out. This is a Cobra seat which comes complete with a useful attached bag, which also holds 2 water bottles. This is the centre hatch which is easily got at from the seat. Bag which fits into hatch. Rear fitting of my home made anchor trolley. Front I used a standard nylon cleat and fitted it here so that it doesn't get in the way. Box for bits and pieces, fishing gear and kitchen sink! Also flag mast attaches to the rear. So far I am very pleased with the kayak, but have only been out 3 times and haven't tried it in really big waves yet but it seems to be really stable.

dont forget to put a little vaseline around the hatch seals just helps stop them drying out and helps for a better seal
