What a great day to be out fishing. We met up at about 8.30 the weather was glorious but there was a gusty wind first thing which would push us out to sea so once the designated 9.am time had arrived it was decided by the group to move to an alternative venue the guys went ahead and I stayed behind till 9.25 .
We moved to port dafarch where we met up with shark and a few other guys conditions was a bit choppy even in the bright sun but we were soon catching mackerel gurnard pouting and Pollock and dogs .
The fishing was a bit slower than it had been in the last few weeks but we still caught a few it was good to see ferox catching a few nice mackerel and gurnard. It was also good to see the new beach patrols Jet Ski keeping an eye out for us kayakers this is defiantly a move in the right direction.
I will put the photos up later in the week once I download them from my camera

A glorious day with a nice cooling wind blowing into the bay. It was a bit choppy out of the bay but not enough to stop us fishing. Had quite a few mackerel altthough they were in small shoals and hard to locate. Also had a red Gurnard and plenty of smallish pouting. Some of the mackerel was grilled that evening and went down well!
