hi i got a malibu pro explorer the other day and managed to get out on the water yesterday. I found that the malibu was easy to paddle and glided across the water lovely and it was very stable and enjoyable. This is the first time i have had a fishing yak and i did'nt know what to expect but for a first time fishing yak it's great. I also got myself a gul drysuite £150 and try this yesterday as well i found it to be nice and comfy easy to move about in and the sip at the front i didnt find gets in the way as some do. At the end of the day just before i put it all away i jumped in llanberis lake i stayed nice and dry and warm and was really happy with what i had got this week . 9 out of 10 for malibu coz it did'nt make my coffee lol 8 out of 10 for gul dry suite only 1 pocket

the malibu tracked good and as for being stable i would put it up there with the drifter as it was that stable i even slid up to the front of the kayak to see how it would cope if i needed to get something out of the foward hatch and it did really well seeing im 17-18 stone even with my 6 year old on with me it stayed stable and was even easy for her to paddle
p.s mike i had to throw the missus over board thats why the yak didnt make my coffee lol
