After messing about trying to get a decent picture of the seal, I gave up and headed for the island.

I met another seal as I paddled down the south of the Island. It could have been the same one, but I decided I didn't want a bunch of seals spoiling my nice paddle, so I headed back the way I'd came. The tide and the wind were giving me a free ride in the wrong direction, so I took a photo of the lighthouse, before making back for the beach.

The wind had picked up on the way back. The worst bit was trudging back up the stony beach with the yak. The last little slope was tough when your feet keep slipping. Another pic of the beach

Nice pics Mal - I was tied up putting fence posts in :-( - gotta finish the fencing before the wee little pigs arrive in March :-)
Possibly out at Rhoscolyn tomorrow or Cable again for more rays?
