Sorry, this is the doom and gloom review. ;D
I own a Cobra Escape. If you are looking for a Kayak with great secondary stability then look elsewhere. It's purely designed for very flat water usage and even then it's primary stability is questionable. I think this is partly down to it's hull design but mainly down to the seating position, which is way too high. It's so high the stability feels like you are sitting on a stool on your Kayak. It's very light to portage at just over 15kg. However this lightness comes at a price. The plastic is so thin it dents very easily. It doesn't take much pressure to create a indentation so you have to be really careful with the roof rack straps. I've read it's meant to be this way so it flex's rather than cracks if you bump into anything. This Kayak does have it's good points. It's easy to paddle and tracks fairly well and has a totally water tight hatch but all in all I would not recommend this Kayak for fishing if you value stability, especially secondary stability.
