After using the Demo moken for the BCU level 1 course and playing on the canal with it i decided to buy a new one in sunrise (yellow with red speckles in it.) The roomy cockpit.comfy seat, pleanty leg room, hatch with large net, easy adjustable foot blocks and a very handy tackle compartment. The underside has nice deep chines and this helps tracking no end There is a lip around the front and sides to deflect any waves away so splashing over is reduced. My first mod was to remove a front rod mount and fit a scottie. This fits perfect in the recess. The screw holes were drilled out for 6mm bolts and 2 blanking plates and gaskets fit. 1 under the scottie and the other inside the hull. The 1 inside the hull is important so the bolts dont pull through when under pressure. More mods to follow. Nice one Buddy. I really like the chosen colour. These Mokens look absolutely superb, very practical fishing platform indeed. You'll be well chuffed with it. ;D Looking forward to your other mods mate. Are those pockets either side of the seat? Chris

Yes they are net pockets either side. Ideal for camera or GPS. As for mods. Today i fit a Garmin 140 fishfinder. the wiring is in place, just needs finishing off. No pics yet. (rain beat me to it) Steve See Mods and rigging section

Hi Buddy Where did you buy your Moken please? Was it local? I'm in Cheshire and can't find a local dealer (Brookbank can't get feelfree). Anywhere around Manchester or North Wales would be good. I don't really want to buy online Cheers Kev (new member)
