hi to all moken 12 owners when going out to day down the river with my moken 12 i can here water in my kayak so i open the drain plug but no water?? so i give it a shake i can hear a lot of water but it will not come out of my kayak so i took the wheel off and the water is in my wheel but i can not see how it got into the wheel i can see no holes but i must have one for the water to get into it ? so has anyone had the same problem with water in their wheel i would just like to find out is it just me ? or have i got a reject wheel deano

Hi. My mocken whel does the same. If you store your moken upside down the wheel well fills with rain water and it seeps into the wheel through the spindle hole. The easy way round this is to drill a few 5mm holes in the wheel to allow it to drain. Water in the wheel wont cause any problems to the handling of the kayak. Steve
