Sure you remember your very first motor. What was it and anything memorable about it?

My first car was a ford anglia. I paid a tenner for it. And I actually managed to overtake a milk float in it one day. That was back in 1970. ;D

Metalic brown DAGENHAM DUSTBIN (Ford Zephyr) Column change and a big bench seat in plastic so you slid along it if you took a corner a bit too fast Nice car just couldnt afford to keep it on the road on an apprentices wage. Sold it for £40 more than i paid for it. ;D

Wow, you guys are old! ;D ;D ;D My 1st car was a Rover 216 "F reg" I bought it from an auction mart and didn't realise till I bought it the automatic choke did not work so every time I put my clutch down the bloomin thing stalled! Not my best introduction to motors.

A 1948 Austin 8, that was in 1961. Best feature was the heater, it was a pipe that came straight off the cylinder head into the car, no fan, nothing but a little flap that you lifted to get the heat inside ;D
We always went up into the hills when it snowed but never got stuck once, more than we can say about these modern cars ;D.
Remove and replace a rear Axel in just 20 mins. Top up with petrol and have a good session in the pub all for £1.00, boy I'm old ;D
