The overall design of the manta 12 shown here as standard out of the box
With new seat 4 scupper bungs footrests and rail mount and 3 hatches
With new seat 4 scupper bungs footrests and rail mount and 3 hatches
The most striking thing is the all new DVC seating it has wrap around arms and a really clever wedge cushion that pulls partly out for comfort the high back gives maximum support to the back while paddling and fishing.
With Clean lines and ample space the cockpit is well designed note the 4 scupper bungs and adjustment rods for the footrests
Here the new side rails are shown note they are in a recessed grove so you don’t catch your hands on them and they are not damaged while transporting the rails are made from sturdy marine grade black aluminium
Now standard on all mantas is the clam shell paddle lock
The 11 ft slightly differs in the cockpit there is no centre hatch but every thing else is the same for both models
I was lucky enough to get some prototype rail accessories from the uk importers
Shown here is an oval tray which has a Scotty rod holder mounted to it but you could mount all sorts of things on the rails like fish finder drinks holder ect

This is a sliding rise and fall tray I think this will be very use full for us its seen here with 2 flush mount Scotty bases ready for rod rests to be just slotted in it but there are all sorts of things you could mount to it.
the clever thing about this is it when pushed forward its completely out of the way while paddling and fishing

The upgrades to the new 2010 manta are really impressive you get the same stability and speed but more features and options for kitting them out.
There is a great small video of the new mantas on the system x site .
