Just thought I would post a quick review of this Kayak. I know it isn't a fishing kayak but if, like me, you want to just have a quick paddle every now and again then this review may interest you. I had a remit for a second kayak. My Big Game is great for fishing but for those days when a quick paddle is all you have time for then moving it about can seem a bit bewlidering. Also I move the big game on a trailer which I couldn't take with me easily to places like work and I don't have roof bars. I therefore wanted a small kayak I could put in the car with the seats down and pull out for a paddle at short notice. There was one other problem. Make no bones about it I am big fat man and most small kayaks are built for slim athletic types . I tried out a number of Kayaks at Surflines Demo day and came upon the Dagger Fiesta 9.3. It has an incredibly large cockpit (needs an N7 spraydeck) which was perfect for me. On the water it is very easy to get up to speed and turns well. Its dimensions make it very stable for a short kayak; it handles more like a tourer. Even my son had no trouble with handling it out on the water. The biggest surprise with this was the price. This is a kayak that is made of recycled kayaks. Therefore this retails at £299 (plus the discount on the day, thanks surflines ). I recommend anyone like me who wants a kayak they can bung in the car and pop out for a paddle with during lunch time ;D to consider this kayak.
