Here is our latest instructional video on removing a hook from your flesh. It should be noted that you need to carry a pair of cutters strong enough to cut through large, strong hooks. Small bolt cutters or heavy line mans pliers will do it, your needle nose or dykes are often not strong enough. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTUQXpg76xQ

Ouch !! rather him than me, i was fly fishing last year and a guy had a barbed fly stuck in his neck, thankfully i had my leatherman and just popped the hook through his skin as if he was hooked fully ( hook penetrated and exited ) then cut the barb off and unthreaded it, he seemed very happy ! lol

Yelp! ;D Fairly recently started crushing all my barbs and makes a huge difference in getting unhooked. Not only skin but landing nets and foul hooked fish etc without seeming to loose more fish. Great video.
