Drinks and kayaks and talking heads at the paddling pool- new friends being made. We enjoyed a very interesting morning at the paddling pool/ llandudno today in the company of our RNLI guest Pete who checked out our safety related issues and we were provided at the end with a very handy booklet covering a whole host of issues relating to safe navigation an use of the waterways in day and at night. After various amounts of tea and coffee we thought that a paddle and a fishabout may be in order but the wind didnt play the game- we headed for West Shore hoping for better but it was the wrong time of tide ( anyone who knows that patch will know what i mean) moved to Deganwy for a recce- but fell out with the neighbours ( fairly big style but thats another story) ( we shall return)- then onto Conwy Morfa - too much SE wind in our face and a building tide - no-one was really interested in a whole load of hard work so decided to call it a day and headed home. In future i promise that this Administration will use their unique global powers to combat world disappointment in our next campaign - War on Wind.Good night kayakers- wherever you are !

The brews were a one time offer only, its your turn next Tim! ;D ;D ;D Thanks to all that came along on Sunday, and to Peter Wrigley of the RNLI who checked over some of the safety kit we held on some of the kayaks. I was hoping that the wind would stay down but it didn't and that put a stop to anything else we wanted to do on the day. Apologies to all for the disappearing act i did, some of you may of known i wasn't too well Sunday morning, i followed you all to West shore and from there i had to dump my car there and my other half had to take me to Bangor hospital, thought i was going to die ;D ;D turned out to be a nasty kidney infection, i don't want that again It was good to get together and have a chin wag and a brew even though the rest of the day didn't turn out too well, not much we can do about the weather Cheers Martin
