Stability : I fine my x-factor is very stable 10/10
Easy to lift
On and off the car 54lb it’s not too bad to lift up on to a car just have to balance the length 14.5ft 8/10
To and from the water like most kayaks owners I us a trolley so its no problem 8/10
Fitting/build
Nuts I have had no problems with the sealed on the nuts and rivets 9/10
Bungee rope the bungee ropes easy to unclip should I need to 8/10
The seat fixing I use a apex 1 seat and he fixings are well spaced 9/10
Hatches no problems with the hatch .seals all dry so far 9/10
Rod holders the two on the back are in easy reach and the 2 on the front for tolling are set just right so as not to get in the way when paddling 8/10
How does it feel on the water
Tracking tracks well due to it length and hull design 8/10
Turning is easy because of the hull shape 9/10
Speed I average speed is about 3mph 7/10
Does it cut through the waves or ride over the top of them? my x-factor cuts through the waves 8/10
Hull slap/ no hull slap at all 10/10
Seating
Is it dry or wet? My x-factor is a very dry ride there are 4 scupper holes in the foot wells so no water is retained 9/10
Is it comfortable? My x-factor is very comfortable with the foot rests 8/10
Cargo area or well
Storage how easy is it to get to? I fined I can get to my well and front hatch very easily 8/10
All in all a great kayak and very well moulded top quality plastics and fittings if I could change one thing it would be to add a small built in tackle box on the flat area on the centre console (but I am working on that one at the moment ).
Total average score for my kayak is 8
