charlies day at holyhead breakwater

we packed the car up this morning and holyhead breakwater was the venue :)it was charlies first day of the easter holidays and dad promised to take her fishing so keeping to my word off we went ;D ;D
sunglasses at the ready!! ;D ;D and ready for the drive
we called at menai angling for some fresh rag ;D ;Dtop stuff to!we will be back again for some more ;D ;D
arrived on the breakwater charlie had fell asleep on the way so quietly getting my rods out the car and setting them up ready for action!
first rod set up baited and casted in no sooner than getting the other out of the rod bag"thump"cracking bite!so i thought get the other set up sharpish ;D ;D
this was the result of the first bite ;D ;D
at this point charlie had arisen form the car so we got her rod out and baited it up,sitting on her little stool eager for the first fish to bite
we got one of our bait traps out of the car and ready for its first dunking of the year!rubby dubby mackeral,sprat and a bit of mush :-*we left it out for an hour before dragging it in or rather trying to drag it in :otug tug it wasnt budging then it moved quick and came up free and easy :oend result was a very mangled trap beyond repair
set another trap up and got some bait in it threw it in left it about an hour then we decided to check it out and this was the result ;D ;D
our first lobster of the year ;D ;D
the weather was kind to us also as it didnt look to good at first but the sun yes the sun came out and shone for us to ;D ;D
we had a few wrasse to although not to many but it was a good bit of sport ;D ;D
we had a few white rats to only small but hey still a fish
we packed up about 9.30pm as charlie was getting tired and is not very keen on the dark
the end tally was 24 dogfish 4 wrasse 3 whitting and a lobster so in all a good days fishing and great to see the smile on charlies face ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
