Went for a paddle with my grandson on the River Trent today. I knew it was going to be a 10 miler so I planned for us to have a rest and lunch at Hazelford Lock, the 5 mile turning point. In the past this has meant sitting on the grassy ( hopefully) bank. But this time I took a couple of hammocks I had recently brought. I found some suitable trees and hey presto!! Laid back in the sun eating lunch, so comfortable. I was a bit wary they only cost a tenner each off Flea bay and stuff into a tiny bag, but boy was I pleasantly surprised, we could have laid in them all afternoon. I highly recommend them. I got mine from Tenth Wonder, great service ordered 15:30 on Wednesday on standard ( 3 - 5 days) postage, arrived 09:00 Thursday. 17.5 hrs later! A word of warning though, not suitable for sea journeys! Two trees or similar required! Terry
