Theres a colony of seals near to where i paddle on the Llyn and they are very nosey. i know there is no harm in them but it can make you jump when you first hear the snort behind you .

I had that experience not far from nefen yesterday, a seal surfaced right next to my port side. I thought that he or she was after my macy's, it gave me such a fright then swam under the kayak giving me a slight knock, it then stalked me for a while appearing on different sides of the yak, front and back. I thought I was surrounded. however it was a great sight to see and added to the excitement of the day.
