Hey Terry, when are you going to actually try it on the kayak ;D
The thing I wished I had years ago is a 'sit on top kayak' but they were not around when I was in my 30's. now almost the big 60 I don't know how long I am going to be able to go out but at least I found this great sport before it is too late. Phil

This getting old is a worrying thing, I know ive certainly slowed down the last few years. All the more reason to do things while you can i reckon.
The best thing i bought last winter is one of those cree headlights off ebay, the light off it is absolutely great. I can see the beam on some trees about 50yds away. Light and easy to use and cost about a fiver.
Remember the parrafin lamps we used to use in the olden days?

An addition to my previous post.
Trish and I have started clay pigeon shooting again after a 5 year layoff. There was a gun that I searched for, at least 10 years ago but never found one, then by pure chance I called in a gunshop in Horncastle/ lincs only to find a Remmington 3200 o/u trap gun in mint condition complete with a spare barrel-----------------BOUGHT IT. I really do wish I had searched harder years ago because this little baby turns clays into DUST. Fantastic. Phil
