Thanks Zebra. I have mine on pre-order. I have been told to expect it to arrive June / early July (latest) but prefer your estimate!! It may be that the sales rep was airing on the side of caution to avoid a dissapointed customer if they were delayed which I totally understand He did his best to find 1 for me in the UK but with no luck. I love the look of this Yak, and the reviews convience me of a good thing. I'm not new to sitontops but new lifestyle (12 week old baby forces a change of Yak. I think this will suit my expected outings better than a fully loaded Yak. Thanks for the offer, may well be up on the wirral this summer, so may be venturing into North Wales for a spot of kayaking / fishing.

It sounds as if i am very lucky as i got mine on monday, i thought it may have been a sales ploy when they said it was the last one they had. i have been out in it twice and i am very inpressed with it. Great service from bournmouth canoes even gave me free postage to the isle of wight.

Good idea for the Ocean hatch Zeb .... stick on some newprene. I think Ocean should address their hatch leak problems and make them more watertight.
Anyone know where Neoprene sheet can be purchased .. ?
thanks

Garden centers or Aquatic shops will sell Neoprene pond liners....most have it on rolls of varying widths, for sale by the foot or meter. ...........they might have off cuts/end of rolls. They should have it in various thicknesses. Dave

Volusian, Try www.pennineoutdoors.co.uk. They sell neoprene in 10 cm x 1.2m "strips" at about £5 each. I asked for two and they asked me if I wanted them as two strips or in one piece. I said one piece...what I got was actually one piece of 30cm wide x 1.2m....so nominally I got 50% more than I paid for and all as one fairly good sized sheet.
