Not my idea but one from a new member Bart.
A useful addition could be a list of camping sites that members have used or know are in a good location.
I stay at Pant gwyn near Tudweiliog on the Llyn. It has two areas for caravans, one a caravan club cl and the other for 10 seasonal caravans.
Its not really a camp site but if you see the farmer he will sort you out with a place and even set up electricity if you want it. Its then 1 big field to cross to the sea or a short drive to Towyn beach to launch.
There is also a caravan/ camping site at Towyn right by the path down to the beach.

Hi vtrkarl
If you stay at Towyn i must have seen you out at some time, may have even spoke as ive chatted to a few people launching on towyn beach.
Im at the small site at the east of the bay and launch up at that end near to the small waterfall, you might have noticed an old kayak that i leave on the cliffs.
Will have to meet you when we are both up there and compare notes, also wouldnt mind a bit of company for fishing a bit further out sometime.
Great spot isnt it.

Lovely fish Karl. I used to have a small rib that i launched at Porth ysgaden. had some good fishing but cant claim anything as big.
I often launch by the stream after easing the yak down by the waterfall and then tend to be spoilt for choice, rocks one way, sand the other. Hope to see you up there.
