Went on the canal today with Terry to try out the Mazzif Fisha. Was a bit apprehensive at first with it being so short but i must admit i quite enjoyed a few hours paddling with it. Fitted an Apex copy seat to it and off we went. It will never be the fastest of kayaks but it was qiite responsive. It spun round with the greatest of ease but even being so short it paddled fairly streight. Paddling back up the canal we headed streight into a stii breeze and the mazzif still paddled with ease. the only difference paddling into a breeze was a little bit of slap from the waves but all in all we had a good afternoon. In my opinion anyone looking for a small stable well built kayak should give the Mazzif fisha a look at and all you looking for a now rare to find Mini X look no further as ther is very little difference in the two kayaks. The obvious difference is you can buy a Mazzif and can't buy a new Mini X anywhere. My only negative is the foot rests could be a little deeper. Steve

Nice write up Steve. These Mazzis sound pretty good as were the Mini X Be interesting to see how these perform in the surf.
