Do you guys cover / grease your fish finder / gps connections at all to stop them corroding?
If so, what with?
Cheers

You definitely need to use something.
I have some silicone grease that a mate gave me. Vaseline works just as well so they say.

WD40 or better still ACF50 spray which is used in the navy and air force as it coats the connections with a slightly sticky lubricant. Many guys swear by ACF50 but it is hard to get hold of and not so cheap. WD40 is commonly used but far less effective. the problem with silicone grease is that in marine environments, sand can become attached to the grease causing contact problems depending on how careful you are. I tend to wash the leads and the ff after each trip then respray when all are completely dry. Phil
