Just wondering if you can help? I have recently purchased a second hand Lomo Renegade dry suit, the suit is in excellent quality and fits great. Where I am having problems is the neck seal is too tight. I have an 18" neck and it feels like I'm being suffocated..... Can you offer any help or suggestions?
Many thanks
Lee

Hi Lee. There are usually lines around the neck. Follow the lines down one at a time but try to keep it a clean cut as any nicks could split as you pull it over your head. Steve.

Daft as it sounds....they do recommend a little Johnsons Baby Powder to help protect and 'lubricate' seals.

Hold on there fella-------DO NOT CUT YET
I watched a youtube regarding the fit of these things and it suggested using a saucepan pushed into the neck and leave for a week. Okay I thought, it is worth a go, it works very well.
I used my dear wife's best pan which was about 8'' dia and also a little talc. After one week it was much better but still not quite enough so I left the pan in for another 3 days, hey presto, job done and the neck seal is in tact.
Now I also have to say that over a period of a couple of months, the neck did reduce slightly so this time I cut on the first ring and it has been fine for the last two years. Had I cut it straight away, I do believe that I would have been cutting down to at least 3/4 rings as I did on my cag. So it has to be worth a go

I heard somewhere that you should not use baby powder as it has oil in it that damages the seal over time just heard. I use old spice peter

Most people use a little talc but I have not heard of any problems caused by this. In fact it was suggested by the shop I bought it from and they are huge wetsuit/drysuit dealers.
