As some of you know, I do not find the BG to be very comfortable as the shape of the seat molding and the angle to the floorpan is poor in my opinion and I suppose that after having a Manta Ray, nothing is as comfortable. Well to cut a long story short, a guy from AA site was saying that he found his new Ultra 4.3 seat to be poor and wanted a Crazy Creek 3. A few PM's later-----we swapped seats. You can see the shape of the rear is very pronounced and when on the BG, it sticks into me quite a bit. The problem is the underside which is made to fit the Ultra Time to remove the offending foam A good fit was made so onto the backrest. This was very easy as the base seat position gave me approx 20mm clearance on the upper section of the seat area to fit the plastic bearings complete I far prefer to have fitted seats as you can preset the position and simply flip up into position and away. Well done Phil, now you need to get on the water and sit in it for a few hours just to see how it fits your derriere.

You are so right Terry, I was hoping to get out this weekend but things have got in the way. I will be at the Flamborough meet which may be the first chance I have. I will for sure be taking my Skwoosh seat pad with me so a little extra support is at hand but with the extended leg supports, I think it might just be okay. Fingers crossed Hey why don't you two come up to Flam with the tent, it would be great to see you again and a good weekend on the water, well at least Sunday, I don't think I will go on the Tope meet on the Monday. This might sound daft but I get as much pleasure out of modifying the kayak as I do using it. Enjoy modding for other people as well. Now where did I put that Bimini sun shade Phil
